LTC Partnership Training (8 Credits) Thursday, August 11, 2011
On July 8, 2011, Senate Bill 1193 was signed by Governor Bev Perdue which implemented the Long Term Care Partnership Program (LTCP). As a result, several new agent requirements to market and sell NC LTC Partnership policies were issued. In an effort to provide agents with all NC LTC Partnership resources, Capitol Financial Solutions (CFS), LTC Connection and TAHU have teamed together to aid producers in completing these additional requirements. Changing the way we pay for Healthcare
Physician Care Direct allows practices to generate an additional source of revenue using Access Cards, a pre-paid non-insurance discount program for individuals and Employers who don't have insurance. Access Card holders receive a set menu of services and discounts on other services. Physicians retain 100% of the monthly or annual Access Card fee, plus a utilization fee as card holders come in for appointments. This hybrid revenue stream enables physicians to decrease the volume of patients seen daily while increasing the time they spend focused on fostering better patient outcomes and a more therapeutic doctor-patient relationship. Physicians control how much of their practice is dedicated to the direct-pay model.

PPACA Health Benefit Exchange Update

Update on Health Benefit Exchange regulations from the various federal agencies responsible for implementing PPACA including DHHS and IRS. Also included is an update from NCDOI on their efforts to implement PPACA.

Gary Davis, Motivational Sales Coach

Gary began his professional career as an English teacher in Wake County schools working in the Paideia program. This Socratic method of teaching by inquiry is the bedrock of his work with coaching clients. Gary turned his love of words to the business world, reaching out as a public speaker to demystify the world of networking.

A well-respected keynoter and motivational speaker, Gary is known for his regional humor and practical insights into what makes relationships intentionally stronger.

In his book, Networking in the South, Gary suggests that what really matters is not who you know, but what who you know thinks of you. His observations are rooted in a childhood spent in eastern North Carolina and borne out through his experience as a real estate developer, restaurant owner, and sales trainer.
Gary ’s dream is to work in transformation with China, and he recently had the opportunity to test his observations in central China as a delegate to Raleigh's sister city of Xinagfan.

Gary is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a BA degree in Education for working in Secondary Schools. He and his wife live in Fuquay Varina with their three children.
