2010-11 TAHU Strategic Plan
The Triangle Association of Health Underwriters' strategic plan goals for the 2009-10 year are:
- Achieve 100% board recruitment of new members.
- President-
1. to win Pacesetter,
2. to spread the name of NAHU through community education). Health Reform Update/Health Insurance Week November 8th-12th, 9th is the day of the Town Hall meeting
- President Elect/Membership - 2 membership contests, 14% growth, each member recruit 2 members, membership blitz in September, and committed to an article in the newsletter on bank draft for HUPAC
- Vice President/ Speakers & Sponsors - Secure speakers and sponsors. Agreed to this through 2011. Coordinate with treasurer on invoices, identify and schedule topics.
- Secretary - take good notes and remain ridiculously good looking
- Treasurer - maintain the books, update the website
- Media Relations
- Legislation - attend Cap conference, report through emails, Day on the Hill
- Communications - newsletter, email, surveys on speakers. Wants to get more involved with Linked In.
- Awards - Pacesetter, Public service chair, remind members that they/we are up for these awards, newsletter article on awards and to keep up with designations.
- Continuing Education
- HUPAC - Coordinate with State HUPAC, come up with tangible results of HUPAC
